About Chrissy Jackson, ACM, PHC
Chrissy began her career as a Community Manager in 1980 with a 200-site manufactured home community in a rural area of Florida. Over the next 16 years, she managed communities ranging from 125 sites in economically distressed areas to larger, country club type developments with over 800 sites, including some with sales operations.
Chrissy joined the staff of the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) as Director of Training and Community Resources, serving as the principal trainer for the Manufactured Housing Educational Institute's (MHEI) accreditation programs and seminars. It was during this time that she totally revised all textbooks used for the prestigious Accredited Community Manager (ACM) courses.
An internationally recognized author, she has written thousands of articles for industry trade publications as well as over 25 handbooks on community management. Chrissy conducts numerous training workshops and has also presented several years for the National Manufactured Housing Congress in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In May of 2004, when Chrissy retired, she was Vice President of the North Central Division for Hometown America, with responsibility for the profitable operation of 18 communities with sales centers. She now is offering training full time.
